Bursting into prosperity after a long season of waiting and preparation...

Also known as the "Touch-Me-Not" because of its tendency to explode its seed pods upon being touched, the spotted jewelweed has been used by Native Americans to treat many skin conditions. It can reduce pain and irritation from hives, poison ivy, stinging nettle, burns, and its anti-fungal properties make it an excellent treatment for athlete's foot. However, jewelweed is rarely consumed orally because it can cause poisoning due to high mineral content.

After receiving inspiration on a trip to the mountains of North Carolina, I wanted to create a collection about how the quietude and complexity of the outdoors can bring peace and clarity of mind. Every piece in this collection is meant to allow you to step into a moment of rest, silence the mental chaos, and gain new perspective in the beauty of nature.
